Scope: Kitchen and Residential furnishings for 42 tiny houses

At Mattsee in Austria, 42 modular houses for the eco-resort “das Seehäuser” were furnished with the Variand system, creating a homely and flexible furnishing concept.

The furnishings include wardrobe and storage space solutions for the living rooms, design elements such as decorative shelves and picture railn as well as extensive equipment for the kitchens. Here, modular shelves were planned as airy upper cupboards in all residential units and wall rails with integrated magnets and dimmable LED strips offer practical kitchen use with homely ambient lighting.

The furniture can be easily maintained by the hotel staff and quickly replaced if necessary. In addition, the special design contributes to a stay that will be remembered. The homely furnishings with natural colors and lots of wood offer a relaxed retreat and are stylishly complemented by the restrained choice of materials in the Variand furniture.

In close collaboration with the Austrian modular house manufacturer Wood_Space and the operators of the resort, an interior design concept that was both homely and functional was created.
