In principle, the wall rails with lighting, like all other Variand-wall rails , are attached to the wall with screws and plugs.

On our Downloads page , you will find a general assembly instruction for the Variandsystem, as well as a detailed guide for connecting the electronic components for the LED lighting.

Please pay close attention to the following:
Electronic devices and their components should always be connected by professional personnel! The instructions and data sheets provided by the manufacturers for the devices (LED transformer, remote control, and radio receiver) must be strictly observed and should be thoroughly read before the
components are connected.

Since the wall rails with LED lighting are often only manufactured on request, you usually have to expect a delivery time of 3-6 weeks. If you want to know if your desired length is in stock, feel free to contact our team in advance: service@variand.de

Variand can be mounted on most walls without any problems. Ideally, the wall is a solid construction wall, but double-planked drywalls or wooden walls are usually a very good basis.

You should be careful with porous old building walls. If you have concerns about whether your wall is suitable, feel free to contact our support or get advice directly from your local hardware store.

The delivery of the LED-wall rails includes all parts and electrical components you need for the assembly of the wall rails and the connection of the electrical components. The latter include: LED transformer for furniture installation, textile cable with type-C power plug and toggle switch, LED strip in corresponding length, connection cable, LED profile, opaque LED cover & if ordered remote control and radio receiver.

Only if you order the light-wall rail in the variant "Control: Remote control, dimmable", the LED strip can be adjusted in brightness, as in this case a corresponding radio receiver is included as a control element.

The LED strip of the LED rail has a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin, thus belonging to the warm white light spectrum.

The LED-LED rails are typically connected via a textile cable with a Type-C power plug (Euro plug). The cable can optionally emerge from the wall rail at the left or right end of the wall rail (can be decided during installation) and has a standard length of 150 cm. If you need a longer cable, please let us know.

If a suitable wall outlet for connecting lamps is available, the LED-LED rail can also be placed and connected there, so that no power cable is visible.

For a length of over 140 cm, the light-wall rails usually consist of two parts that are connected during assembly. This facilitates the assembly and shipping of the wall rails.

It is possible to combine various wall railsadd-ons, e.g. magnets and lighting, as a custom-made product upon request. For this, you should expect an additional charge and longer delivery times.
